INFANTS / TODDLERS SMALL CONTAINERS OR POUCHES... NOT GLASS! SMALL BITE SIZED DEHYDRATED OR FREEZE DRIED FOODS (FRUIT, VEGGIES, CRACKERS, ETC.) FORMULA - (If needed, & just in case)
A NOTE ABOUT FORMULA:I recommend learning how to make your own homemade formula, if you don't breast feed. If you *do* use commercial formula, be sure to pack extra... but homemade formula is MUCH healthier, & nutrient dense, and it doesn't contain toxic chemicals. Commercial formula contains horrible ingredients. If making your own isn't possible (there are many recipes online), try to look for a good organic brand with simple ingredients.

No doubt, if there's an emergency (or a snow day), & you're stuck at home with kids (or yourself!) everyone's gonna get bored at some point. You could end up going really - really - really CRAZY.
Here are some ideas for things you can do to keep everyone busy. Some are basic & obvious, but having a list always helps, because your brain just isn't gonna think quite right, if you're in a stressful situation.
Print this list out & put it with your emergency kits so you have access to it if your computer isn't available:

LABEL YOUR KIT WITH NAME (OR INITIALS), & PHONE #'s. DECORATE YOUR KIT TO DISTINGUISH FROM EVERYONE ELSE’S! (IDEAS BELOW):
“THIS TOO SHALL PASS” “I’M ONLY HERE FOR THE FOOD” “NO ONE SAID IT WAS GONNA BE EASY, BUT THIS IS RIDICULOUS!” “HAVE BUCKET, WILL TRAVEL”
IF YOU ARE ABLE, PACK MORE WATER! IF YOU ARE ABLE… PACK MORE FOOD! THE MORE, THE BETTER... IF POSSIBLE. But make sure you have the means to carry, push, or pull it.
THIS is our fashionista "porta-potty." We have a stash of bags inside for "waste collection", so that we can keep our bucket clean & sanitary... WE survive in style!
